Padgets symptoms?

So over the past couple of months I’ve noticed that my left nip hasn’t been normal. Symptoms have gotten worse over the past couple of weeks. My nip is peeling like a scab and extremely itchy but stings and burns at the same time. When my nip is hard it looks almost deformed... very bumpy lumpy and wrinkled? My whole breast is also a lot heavier and more firm than my right. My sister compared it to feeling like a nursing mom who hasn’t nursed on both sides and one (my left breast) is still full of milk. There has been very minimal clear discharge. My nip is also more red in color than my right. I have an appointment with a doctor this week but according to the internet i have almost every symptom except age. I’m 20. Does this sound like your diagnosis? I feel like I just keep freaking myself out!!!

aandreaa - Your symptoms do sound very similar to mine but the fact that Pagets is rare and you're young it's possible it's something else. Have you tried treating it for eczema with a topical steroid cream? Before my dermatologist would do a punch biopsy I had to try that first. When that didn't work we tried a steroid cream. I would try an over the counter remedy as see if that gives you any relief. Keep us posted!
