Medi-port removal pain?

Im sorry if this has been posted, I scrolled a bit but didn't see it. Yay port removed today, but what I was not made aware of was the pain. I've known some folks who had no issues, but this hurts all the way to my back, worse than lumpectomy, worse than biopsy! Is this normal? It was placed too low, totally on the breast not chest and there was tissue built up around it which j think is the cause but no one told me anything. Thank God I still have pain killers I didn't even use after lumpectomy.

If it doesn't feel better today, I'd give the doctor a call. I remember being a little sore, but no pain.
