Ultrasound and CT Scan

I had to have an ultrasound and CT scan on my lymphedema affected side on my chest and neck. Following these procedures, I have been in considerable pain, especially at night. The areas in my clavicle area and on into my neck are very pain sensitive and have kept me awake at night. Without sleeping with my upper body on a wedge, the pain will creep into the left side of my face and ear. I am assuming that the pressure applied for the ultrasound might have caused my lymphedema to flare up even worse than it is normally. I wondered if anyone else had been through something similar and if so what they did to calm it down?
