1 week Radiation and my white cell count is low already

Hi all,

I am just into week one of radiation and my white cell count is already low. I am meeting with my oncologist tomorrow not sure if any one else had this happen?

My MO warned me that this could happen since radiation reaches the bones of the sternum where many white blood cells are made. It is supossed to be temporary... I hope your counts remain stable until the end of rads. How many sessions will you have?
