Coming off Combination Therapy

Hello Everyone,
After three years on the Lupron/Arimidex combination, my MO is considering taking me off the Lupron on the theory that I am fully in menopause. The plan is to continue with the AI
Has anyone done this and had their period return? How long did it take before that happened? Did you continue taking the AI in the meantime? If you had joint pain, did any of those side effects improve?
I realize Lupron isn’t meant to be taken forever but I admit I’m a bit apprehensive. Any experiences and anecdotes would be very welcome!
