Prozac and Tamoxifen

Hi everyone,
I just finished radiation and will need to start Tamoxifen within the next couple of weeks, which I am really scared about, especially after reading about all the possible side effects on this forum. If that wasn't enough to deal with, I have to stop taking Prozac, which I've been on since I was in middle school to help my depression and anxiety. I can't take it with Tamoxifen because of drug interaction, so my MO wants me to switch to Lexapro, which she claims works the same way as Prozac.
Has anyone here had experience with switching from Prozac to Lexapro due to Tamoxifen? I am just curious about others' experiences. I'm really scared about all this and am even considering not taking Tamoxifen at all. Prozac has helped me tremendously in this battle against breast cancer and I am so afraid to stop taking it.
