Mixed Ductal and lobular cancer.... worried

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any information or experience in this type of cancer? My mum was diagnosed with this mixed cancer today and her biopsy showed a positive lymph node too.. we have to wait for an MRI and some CT scans before they give us any more info. I’m worried sick and all this waiting is giving myself and my siblings anxiety. We lost my dad to cancer years ago and have found ourselves having to go through all of this again 😪 feeling so low

    We're so sorry to hear of your mom's diagnosis, but we're really glad you've found us. We are sure you'll find this space a helpful source of information, advice, and support -- we're all here for you and your mom.

    Try to keep positive for your mom, and try not to worry too much until you know more about the diagnosis your mom is facing and the treatment ahead. You may also want to visit the forum on Mixed Type Breast Cancer, to meet other members here who may be managing a similar diagnosis.

    Please keep us posted with what you find out and hang in there!
