Dimple under breast

i'm only 18 so i kind of never thought of breast cancer as an option this young but i'm not sure anymore. I've always had bigger breasts and always been a bit more concerned about getting breast cancer, but it doesn't run in my family so i just thought i was safe. Until I found a dimple on my breast. Not completely sure whether it's anything or not, and have already made a gyno appointment just to be sure. i'd just like some knowledge maybe from people who had the same symptom? I’m young and just scared, my mom told me not to be worried but it’s unsettling to find anything on your breasts

scared18yearold, welcome to Breastcancer.org, we know it can be scary! You can feel proud of yourself for taking your health concerns seriously, but you should know that breast cancer in young women, specially at your age, is very, very rare.

Please let us know what your doctor says and try and stay relaxed, the odds of this being cancer are really low!
