    There are actually a lot of things that cure cancer in the lab, typically in a petri dish or rats, so I don't doubt that you have seen some documents from a pharmaceutical company concerning cures for cancer.

    But there's a chasm the size of the Grand Canyon between curing cancer in the lab in a petri dish or rats and curing it in humans in a clinical setting and a lot of times pharmaceuticals companies choose not to develop and bring to market seemingly promising drugs because they have other drugs they would rather put their money in to.
