Fat necrosis grew at follow up

Had a scare back in December (ruined my holidays). I have 2 cm hypoechoic oval mass that was Microlobulated. Scary stuff. Core biopsy came back as fat necrosis. Never had any trauma or surgeries, am not old nor obese but was told this can be random so I went about my business. Now at my 6 month follow up, the lump has grown almost a centimeter. The radiologist said I could have another biopsy or have it taken out and tested.

I’m opting for removal because I feel the testing will be more accurate. I know false negative biopsies are rare but can happen. I don’t have a consult with the breast surgeon for another 2 weeks so and so I wait.. in agony..
