    Hi ladies!

    My mom's surgery was delayed several times due to low immunity, fever and today because of rapid heart rate during surgery. It's very frustrating! Doctors are puzzled and don't know the reason behind that her high heart pulse. Did anyone experience something similar?

    They checked her thyroid it’s fine. She did an EKG and a heart ultrasound and everything is ok except for the rapid heart rate.

    Some medications can cause tachycardia but I would be shocked if her doctors have not considered that. It could be an autonomic dysregulation issue either from chemotherapy or other issues.

    I'm sorry to hear that your Mom is going through this. It sounds like she is deconditioned state from all that she has been through. Hopefully when she is stronger her tachycardia will improve.
