Tamoxafin for LCIS

i had breast cancer 20 years ago. I had lumpectomy chemo radiation. Six months ago I had a biopsy that showed LCIS. now the oncologist wants me to take low dose tamoxafin. After the cancer i took evista for 11 years. I'm confused about what to do

    I would have been glad to try tamoxifen or Evista for mine but MO said no, since I had a prior pulmonary embolism. Any reason they suggested the tamoxifen instead of the other? I was also offered Aromasin, but I think the others are better tolerated.

    that is where the studies are for lcis. I really thought if I was on evista for 11 years I thought I would not have to take it again
