Surgery consultation

I had my first consultation with my surgeon. She was very nice and reassuring. Now just waiting for the insurance approval, before they call me with my surgery date. She said typically about 3 weeks (maybe that’s the standard time to say, because Insurance can be unpredictable when approving for surgery. But that is just my guess.) she is pretty positive everything will come back fine, but of course they have to send the tissue out for furthering testing just to be sure. I forgot to ask how long the lumpectomy takes (if that’s what it’s called) my Papilloma is right under my nipple, so I’m concerned about loosing feeling as the doctor said that is a possibility.
