I finally got a biopsy answer today and its good news with nothing looking malignant, but I don't feel like it's an exact answer.

I have a non mass enhancement that has been showing up on MRI for the past year and it has quadrupled in size since it was first found. I am high risk for breast cancer since every woman on my mom's side has had it, including my sister at 36. I'm 38 and have been have yearly MRI's for the past 5 years. The decided to biopsy the lesion and the results came back today saying "There are focal areas (5-10% of the biopsy) with stromal
fibrosis that has pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia-like changes. These changes are not particularly well developed but may account for the reported radiologic findings." What in the tarnation does that even mean. The doctor called and said that they want to keep watching the lesion and do another MRI in 6 months but for now they are saying it is PASH. So I am just wondering if I am crazy that I still don't feel like they for sure know what this is? I mean of course I am happy that it is benign but it would be nice to know for sure what it is and not have words like probably, may, and most likely being used for a diagnosis from the doctor. Any input or anyone that has had a similar experience would be appreciated!

Thanks!
