hemoglobin count dropped during taxol is it normal?

My hemoglobin was low during AC which I assumed was normal. After the 3rd AC, the count was borderline 7 and I had a blood transfusion. After the 4 ACs, I had an infection and had to stop the chemo.

I began weekly taxol 3 weeks ago, and my hemoglobin count was above 9, then it went to 8.6 two weeks ago and 8.2 this past Tuesday. I talked to the PA but ,as always, he asked me whether I have dark stool. No I don't( he never considered anything may be related to chemo).

I will check with my oncologist next week, but I am wondering whether it is normal as I expect it to go up instead of down.
