I have been diagnosed based on a axillary biopsy. All the pathology markers say breast cancer even though mammogram negative. I just had a breast MRI this morning. But even with this, I gather that sometimes no breast mass is found.

My last test will be this Wednesday when I have a Bronchoscopy with needle biopsy of chest lymph nodes that lit up on my PET scan. Luckily no cancer found anywhere else. And these chest lymph nodes could be breast cancer, a second type of cancer, or nothing at all.

Waiting is the pits. But, we've all been through it. I already know I want a BMX. I hope I don't get grief on that. Chemo may be before or after surgery. Game plan will be decided after this last biopsy.

I am so glad to have found this forum. It's hard to talk openly with just anyone. I'll post more as I know more. I hope that eventually I can be supportive of others here

Snaffle, welcome to these threads and I hope you find support and comfort. None of us want to be here, but it is good place for information and people who can relate to your situation. Waiting is hard, and once you have a diagnosis and a plan in place, it often seems easier to deal with. There are many threads here to help you make a choice from the options your doctors will give you regarding surgery and treatment. Ask any questions, and we can try to point you to valuable information. All the best, Ceanna
