Nipple Tattoos and Going Flat

I just recently got my implants and my PS wants to create the nipples with skin, a big no from me bc I think they look weird, but I am considering 3D tattoos...but I'm not in love with my implants. If down the road I decide the go flat, will the tattoo skin be removed or would I have weird tattoos on my flat chest?
