I have had many breast issues in my life and last year I found a cyst and told the mammogram technician but she squeezed that breast anyway!! Fast forward to nearly a year later and my left breast that had the cyst is now in pain and is swollen and has thick orange peel skin!! I was to go for another mammogram but I opted for the ultrasound instead. This time the ultrasound tech and doctor advised me to get an MRI done. Instead of the MRI the diagnostic center is sending me for a breast biopsy this morning!! I do not want the invasive procedure. I read somewhere on here that the ultrasound technician said NOT to get this biopsied because the cyst may have caused sepsis in my breast. It’s swollen, aches like a toothache, and has orange peel skin that is thicker that of the rest of the Brest. I have had a stage 0 diagnosis and surgery but I don’t call that cancer. I’ve also had a bilateral reduction, a milk duct removal and two lumpectomies (can’t remember which breast had what at this point). No one in my family has had stage 1 or above Breast cancer tho several have succumbed to other cancers. I realize this is late in the game but should I be getting a biopsy or do I simply need antibiotics FIRST??!! I don’t really trust doctors much these days. It seems in America they look for the fastest way to get you in and out but this is not always the but I just, FOR ONCE, want a doctor who Really cares about HEALING and HELPING patients instead of processing them on the assembly line!!
