Follow up ultrasound in 3 months .

A little back story . I have given birth to my second child in oct. When i went to do follow up with ob in dec she checked my breasts,and told me I have a few lumps . Because i have alot of family history of breast cancer she referred me to clinic . Dident think anything of lumps because (1) i just given birth. (2) i myself did not feel anything . I did go to the clinic and they saw i cyst in right breast. Fast forward to April i felt a lump ii left breast . Again dident think anything of it due to I had my period just thought hormonal. Following month felt lump again,and once again dident think anything of it. After my 3rd cycle still felt this pea sized breast lump .I waited till my cycle ended still there . Dosent hurt dont think it grew . Went to dr sent me to clinic . I just went the radiologist. The dr did not feel the lump but said I've lost alot of breast tissue in that area . I did sonogram afterwards dr spoke to me and said he wants to followup in 3 months sonogram . When I asked him what he thought it was he just said it looks like normal tissue. But then he said if my lump grows or any changes in left breast I should call to be seen sooner. So was just wondering should I be worried he is telling me normal breast tissue if that's the case then why do I need to do followup in 3 months . Thoughts please . I am worried due to I have 2 little ones at home 3yr old and a 9 month old .
