Mid 50's - Stopped Tamoxifen - Period Returned?

Has anyone in their mid-50's in menopause experienced a "period" after stopping Tamoxifen after 10 years? I started Tamoxifen after I was diagnosed at age 44... I didn't have side-effects of the drug and had regular periods until around 50 years old when I seemed to go into peri-menopause. My last period was age 52 and officially in menopause at 53. Now at age 55, I stopped Tamoxifen in January and in June had slight spotting... had ultrasounds and biopsy and all is fine. Now in mid-July, more spotting! I am beginning to think it is my period 2 months in a row! And an interesting note is that I had very tender breast and nipples several weeks before the first spotting incident. Has anyone else had this? I have been searching the internet for info and can't find any similar circumstance, so I thought I would ask on this forum. Thanks friends! :-)
