Hi. I am starting starting this new topic called MEDICAL RECORDS because I had requested a copy of my medical records from my hospital for a non breast cancer related reason... they sent me all of my records. when I looked at my pathology report from the medical record department it contained a few different things in it compared to the pathology report in my patient portal (which was the same as what my surgeon gave me). It was much more detailed and had other information in it. It showed that along with idc and dcis (which was in the version in the patient portal) they also found large areas of lcis!! Apparently, according to the hospital the pathology report they sent me is the comprehensive report. I wonder how many of you folks on this website have experienced these differences in your reports. Thank you.
