Coming off long term chemo

I was on weekly taxol for almost two years, and I have now moved to a maintenance treatment of herceptin and letrozole. (YAY!) It has been two months since taxol. I certainly feel better off taxol but it has been harder to recover than I thought it would be. I seem to have "ghost pain" from liver mets and lingering fatigue. (Letrozole has its own side effects I am dealing with, I know.) Any advice or commiseration would be welcome. There is very little on line about the process of coming off traditional chemo, but I would guess I am not alone in this struggle.

I did 4 years of weekly taxol before I had progression and moved to Letrozole. It did take a while maybe 4-5 months before I felt completely normal again. I couldn’t believe how much better I felt. Best of luck.
