Has anyone been approved for SSD with no evidence of disease stage 4 status?

Hi Jude,

I used to process SSA disability claims in Ohio (rules are the same nationwide) and all we needed to approve stage 4 breast cancer claims was the pathology report showing metastasis. No dr’s input needed about if the cancer was active or not or how the person was doing We also expedited such claims as quickly as possible. Hope this helps!

Thank you both for the information. It makes me feel so much better. I thought since my stage 4 diagnosis was 8 years ago they may ask for additional information from the doctor.
