stage 1 grade 3 ++- Waiting for oncotype to return ...

Had an already scheduled blood count drawn, my white cells were elevated by 3 or 3000 depending on the decimal Had lumpectomy and re-incision within 11 days of each other, this blood test was 6 days after the re-incision ...

Anyone had similar white cell findings? One doctor says numbers are due to two surgeries healing (which would be my logic), but one wanted a marrow biopsy ASAP (I refused) That’s two very different levels of concern Thoughts?

White cells fight infection, so it isn't out of the realm of happening.

My lymphocytes were elevated last year for what seemed no apparent reason; then I tied it to a dental abscess/extraction and that took almost a year to go back to normal. My onco was starting to think possible chronic leukemia but when the labs came back to normal, we are putting it on the back burner.
