question on what something means on my path report

On my lab report after my surgery it says the histologic type : Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with Prominent Chronic Inflammatory response. I was just wondering if anyone knew what "prominent chronic inflammatory response" means.
thanks if you know! I'm just curious.
