One of the things I realized when I was diagnosed with breast cancer was how little I knew about it. I, like many of you, jumped online to find information. Including finding this wonderful site.

Once I started treatment there were so many that helped me along the way and so much I learned. For me, knowledge took some of the fear away and prepared me for what would come next. I did learn that no matter how much information you know, or how much advice your receive, every person is different. Each person diagnosed with breast cancer will experience it in a unique way and treatment will be unique to that individual.

I tried to communicate what I went through, and show some of the research I found, as well as share some "Tips" that I wish I had known beforehand.

My site is

Please share it with others who may find it helpful to them.

We get bombarded with information as soon as we are diagnosed. It's a whirlwind and a roller coaster. I tried to organize it the best I can into categories that you could jump to for specific topics that might interest you.

I found, in the end, the exercise in building the website helped me tremendously too. It was my outlet. Ignoring chemo brain, which is finally, slowly dissipating, I could look back at the journey I had been on. The site is still alive in that I continue to update it as I continue my treatment. I still have Herceptin infusions until the end of the year. And I was put on an aromatase inhibitor for at least five years.

I do hope this helps others in their own journey.

Note: I had posted this elsewhere on the site, but was advised to post this here!
