Alcohol and Radial Scars?

About three months ago I was here because I needed a biopsy for a small lump that turned out to be a radial scar. I elected to take a six month follow up approach instead of having the lump removed completely, but recently I've noticed that when I have several alcoholic beverages in one evening I have very noticeable breast pain in that area (and in no other areas). I don't drink that frequently, but I've had two or more drinks three times in the last two months and I've noticed it both times.

My follow up appointment is in September, but is this pain a reason I should consider making an earlier appointment?

Don’t have any idea about the alcohol, but I thought standard of care was to excise radial scar/complex sclerosing lesions, since cancer is found along with them a significant percent of the time

That did used to be the case, but I guess further analysis was done to see the secondary factors that increased the likelihood of cancer upon incision. Since I didn't have the secondary factors the doctors said the chance is low that it would have been cancerous upon exicision so they gave me the option to wait.
