Can arimidex cause low grade fevers?

Options

have had one for over two weeks off and on. Mostly at night but not sure if that's true or I just don't notice it. I felt a bit of chills but not anymore. Bloodwork was done and waiting for results of that and urine but wondering if arimidex has low fever as a side effect

ScaredAsHell -> I don't have any experience YET with Arimidex, just been doing my homework on it, since that's my next treatment option. So unfortunately I can't answer yes or no, but I do have some Arimidex threads bookmarked that might help you find your answer? Not sure if you've asked there at all, you may have better luck.

Hope you find an answer soon. In the meantime, I'd suggest keeping track of your temps for a week or so and see what you see. If there's something going on, it would be handy to have the temp ranges to give to your MO for further investigation. Hang in there.

I think it might be an allegeric reaction. When I first started anastrozole I felt like my tongue was fat or swollen I also had what you describe low grade fever. My oncologist said he never heard of it from the drug. After about a month that seem to go away but over the year and a half the joint pain seemed to accumulate I couldn't ignore it. It was never so bad that I couldn't do the treadmill or yoga. It was in the morning it got really bad. When I finally told my oncologist he said no more anastrozole for you.
