period after treatment

Hello.

I had chemo (4 rounds of AC then 2 rounds of Taxol and 5 rounds of Taxotere). Then surgery. Then 6 weeks of radiation. Radiation ended April 30th and I am now trying to get my life back.

For the past several weeks I have had this nagging headache, bone & joint pain, and menstrual-like cramps. Finally unable to ignore this, I called Oncologist, surgeon, OBGYN hoping someone would be able to explain the why and fix. Then this morning .... bam! Period returns with a 9-month vengeance and I am left wondering what is considered "normal" for the period return.

I finished chemo in January of this year, my period returned in April and they have been pretty normal..... I started Tamoxifen the end of May and still everything was pretty normal until this month.... in July I had two periods ☹️ I was honestly hoping the tamoxifen would stop them. I am 32 years old. I am going to a GYN for the FIRST time in September ( i’m a little freaked out). I know I probably didn’t help you at all, I was just sharing my experience.
