Blood Test Results
Hi I just got my blood results back. I am not sure how to read the results. Can someone help me by explaining them to be, if they are in correct levels ? I am meeting my doctor tomorrow, but just wanted to know before I got there....
Serum Creatinine : 1.2 (0.5 - 1.1) --- Can they still do PET scan ?
FSH : 22.04 mIU/mL & Estradiol(E2) : 6.99 pg/ml
I am on Lupron & Examestene. Does the above FSH & E2 levels show if it's working or not ?

Not sure why you posted on the stage IV forum because it's not clear that you have metastatic disease so I am answering here. Perhaps you are anticipating having immunotherapy...
I would think that your slightly elevated creatinine, a measure of kidney function, shoul not prevent a PET scan.
Weren't your hormone levels checked prior to starting the aromatase inhibitor? While the FSH could be higher to indicate a truly menopausal situation, the low estrogen seems to show that the combo is working.
