Her2Positive Had to stop Perjetta and Herceptin

Hi everyone. So grateful for this site. I finished three months of chemo and had the Herc/Perj treatments every three weeks. Had the mastectomy two months ago. My oncologist told me that when they removed the tumor for the her2 pos that the treatment didn't work at all. Didn't shrink the tumor one little bit. So she took me off of that and now wants me to try a new drug which has tons of side effects and also when I did my research, many people said this new drug didn't help them either for it is in the same family member as the her/per treatments. So here I am exhausted from the chemo and mastectomy and off the Perjetta. My question is are there cancer patients that didn't have the Herc/Perj and are doing fine.
