Hi, beautiful people

I wish these lines find you very very well.

My mom was also diagnosed with stage IV triple negative breast cancer with mets to skin, liver and an area surrounding the lungs. She was offered something called metronomic capecitabine as a paliative chemo. It would work for about 6 months only...

I have been looking for optional treatmets like...

*Sapacitibine/Seliciclib (someone mentioned here with amazing results)

*Chemo + inmunotherapy (Atezolizumab)

*Inmunotherapy in clinics like issels, varita life...

If you have any idea about where to start, clue or advise, I apreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

Julian

I don't have any experience with metastasis, Julian, but I did do Xeloda (capecitabine) as an adjuvant oral chemo for my triple negative cancer. It was a very tolerable treatment. There's a great thread called All about Xeloda. Good information and support.

Have they said why they think it will only give her six months? There are many women on this site who have had many good years on Xeloda. I hope she'll be one of them.

I'm sure someone with more information will be along shortly to answer your questions.

Best wishes to your Mother. I hope you're able to have many more years with her.

Dear Julian, we're sorry for your mom's diagnosis and all you are going through. Besides this forum where you've posted, may we suggest that you check out also the forum For Family & Caregivers of Loved Ones With a STAGE IV Diagnosi, a place where family members, caregivers, and loved ones of people having a Stage IV diagnosis can share, discuss, and support one another. Hope this helps! And please remember that you're not alone in this wonderful Community!!
