Radiologist suspected intraductal mass. Bi-rads was 4b. Breast surgeon could not see dilated ducts with debris on her own ultrasound equipment a week later, machine was much older. She thought she could see the lump (barely visible on her screen).I'm not sure if she didn't look at these images or just wasn't concerned. She did not think the palpable mass was related to the duct, but took a biopsy of the lump. I'm waiting for a second opinion with a surgeon that came recommended, instead of just taking first possible appointment this time. Also waiting on biopsy results. Should I be concerned? I have stressed so much the past few weeks, but feel more calm and just curious now. Thanks in advance for any information.

I don't think any of us are qualified to read imaging, except the radiologist on the "Interpreting Your Report Thread."

Thank you. I was just wondering if anyone else had something similar and how it turned out. I guess most people reading this would still be figuring things out, too, though

The waiting is the hardest part of all. The question in your mind will drive you nuts if you let them. As hard as it is try and take your mind off of it! That A Laugh! I was going out of my Mind.  I hope for you that it turns out to be B9. But even if it is something you will be OK. Hang in we have all gone thru this and are still here. GOOD LUCKThumbsUp

Thank you for replying! It’s nice just to vent my worry out to strangers in a way. I should get results of my biopsy tomorrow or Thursday, so it’s definitely been on my mind more than I want to admir
