How tight does compression bra need to be right after surgery?

thank you in advance for any advice. I just had a revision (sub-pec to pre-pec) and I'm astonished that after 7 years I've actually forgotten this. PS said now that my drains are out to wear a sports bra. She doesn't want the girls to move around. I had a tight one on and while the girls didn't move, it felt really uncomfortable to squish my breasts together (they're held in place with alloderm)

I can't drive yet so going back and forth and trying things on when I'm not suppose to use my arms much isn't helping me find the right fit (I'm 12 days out). I finally settled on a soft brallette that's shaped like a sports bra because it's comfortable. But I don't know if there's enough compression here. I have a bunch of different bras on order. How smooshed do I need to be?

Edit. I just took the bralette off and put on an older lululrmon "let me hold those for you" bra. It's not great either. I keep going back to the surgical bra until I get it right. But i that enough compression ?
