Did you change from Teva Anastrozole? what did you choose?

As you may know, many breast cancer patients have used Teva manufactured Anastrozole (Arimidex) aromatase inhibitor because of no/low side effects. A year ago I started taking it after consultation with my oncologist, and to date have not experienced side effects.

As you may also know, Teva stopped supplying Anastrozole back around December 2018, continued to refer to it as being “on back order", with numerous revisions to a new production date all year. As of today 5/30/19, availability/production date has been changed to June 12th. A phone call to Teva confirmed that Teva has not produced product all year, and what was available from past production has been largely depleted.

In my efforts to continue to use this product I have moved my prescription multiple times, and until this week was still able to obtain product. But with this refill I was only given 10 tablets, and again told the “back order" excuse. I have registered my concerns with Teva, but am not confident that supply will return soon, if at all. So I am fearful, but need to consider making a change. And soon

For those of you who had to make a change from Teva, what did you choose? How do the side effects (or lack thereof) compare?

Will consult with my oncologist, but value any/all comments. Many thanks in advance.
