Ongoing surgeries and or issues with breast recon?

I had a Bi-lat mastectomy with expanders in place and am currently thinking about going flat. I really want/wanted reconstruction but am afraid of ongoing issues that may require further surgeries down the line. I am married and have Tri-Care insurance but I am in a marriage I am afraid wont last.

If I go off Tri-Care it will be difficult for me to pay for any complications due to reconstruction. I also want to use the small amount of resources I have left for any cancer care that could come up in the future. I could have a recurrence and need that money for battling cancer and NOT ongoing surgeries.

If I get implants, and my PS wants to use silicone, then will I need MRI's regularly to check the implant safety?

I am currently making a decision about Hormone therapy, so lots on my mind.
