Scared and worried

Hello all, I went to have a breast ultrasound last Monday. The results were supposed to head over to my doctor, but I haven’t heard from them. I called today to schedule an appointment with the doctor. I received that appointment for next week. I was feeling ok since I haven’t heard from the doctor. I was thinking if something was wrong I would’ve been contacted. My sister who’s a medical assistant told me if nothing was wrong they could say so over the phone. This has sky rocketed my anxiety. I went to the doctor for two dents that appeared on my breast. I was sent in for an ultrasound. Now my breast has enlarged pretty fast. I’m so scared I have something wrong with me. When I google breast enlargement/ indent it keeps bringing me back to inflammatory breast cancer. I’m so scared. I don’t feel like my doctor is serious enough. I feel like if something is wrong she should have called. So I just wanna know do I have to get referred for a skin punch biopsy? Or can I just request one? If anyone knows your input is greatly appreciated..

I had a hard time getting a punch biopsy, I had to go private with my dermatologist to get one, but still left with no answers as I don’t understand the results and he isn’t responding, im back to the breast clinic to demand more than an ultrasound as I’m worried about ibc and know it can be missed on ultrasound. Jan, my experience is when it is bad you would hear quickly. Also if the ultrasound strongly suggests cancer they would let you know ASAP to get you in for a biopsy. Things tend to move pretty fast when malignancy is suspected. You may have an infection.
