Tumor Marker Rising

It's been a couple years since I was diagnosed with triple negative BC. I was doing well for two years and just got my new tumor marker test results and it jumped to 47.7. I've always been around the mid 30s. Has this ever happened to anyone? If so, did it go back down? I'm hoping it's nothing.

I am having the same issue. I had scans in March and most were clear except some lymph nodes in the lung that will be rechecked mid June with another scan. I am 12 years out of stage 2A er+. My last TM was 36.9. I have always been between 10-20. My test is the CA 15-3 and the range is 0-25. I haven’t had much luck on this forum with a lot of people having TM checks that are not metastatic. Good Luck on your scans.

I go in for a pet scan tomorrow. I’m hoping it’s just a fluke and my numbers are high because of stress, losing a job, after 20 years andjust coming off a cold, and moving across country. And not to mention a new doctor and a new lab.
