Hi Pico!
Breast cancer is very treatable, but all of those annoying tests will help your doctors come up with a treatment plan for you. While stage cannot be definitively determined until after surgery, the fact that your doctors believe that you are stage 2 is very positive.
Yes, medical treatment can make anyone's life a mess. Are there family members or friends who can help out? Can someone go with you to your appointments to help you make sense of them? Take it easy. Don't think that you have to make treatment decisions quickly; take time to think through what will be best for you and your family. Get second opinions if you think that will help.
Also, don't be afraid to ask for anti-anxiety drugs or counseling if you think that will help. A cancer diagnosis can be traumatic, even if your prognosis is good.
