Weight lose before mastectomy?

Myquestion is should I TRY to lose some weight before my mastectomy? I haven’t discussed it yet with my surgeon I just want to know from anyone if they had or felt it was unnecessary. My surgery is June 28th. How should I physically prepare for this surgery?

    Discuss it with the surgeon. Eating healthy food (esp. fruit, veg)and drinking plenty of water will help you feel better either way. Walk regularly if your health permits.
