Hi everyone,

I’m 19 and about a year ago, I posted on here for support about a worrying lump I found in one of my breasts and the skin discolouration that came with it.

After a few doctors visits and examinations it was discovered that I have fibrocystic breasts and pcos which caused hormonal changes in my breasts which lead to the discolouration and lumps occurring.

Everything was fine for a couple of months until another patch of discolouration occurred. I am still not super worried about this, but now very recently I have found almost grisly lumps under both my nipples.

These are super worrying to me as they are different to my usual lumps and bumps. Really, I just want to know if anybody on here has any similar experiences with their fibrocystic breasts to put my mind at ease. Thanks

    Hiya,

It is always worrying to get something new. I will say that I am constantly amazed at how my body keeps changing and surprising me even in my late 30s. I think a lot of what we absorb about bodies is wrong, especially for women's bodies. It's good to get something new checked out, but I would say that in general it is very normal for your body to keep doing new and interesting and annoying things as it keeps aging and changing - which for sure does not end at age 18 or even 25.
