I know theres trauma after biopsy, but two weeks out, my whole right side feels ropey now and the initial lump feels smaller. Is this standard?

Well, my lump was never palpable by me or the doc. But ever since biopsy, something has been there. I agree regarding trauma. My tumor is/was the size of a pea, and he took 14 cores! I can't believe there's anything left. I keep thinking the lumps i feel now are the "tunnel" he had to "drill" to reach my chest wall and what's left of my shredded tumor.

Also, before diagnosis, I would sometimes have the feeling that my milk is coming in. That is, my cancer breast would feel like it's "radiating" a little and there'd be some internal pressure. It lasted a few hours multiple times per week. Now, that doesn't happen any more. I described it to the doc, and he said there's no connection to the tumor. But I still think it's odd that it was happening before biopsy, now it doesn't. (I haven't fed a baby in over 24 years.)

Glad to see your “ropey” and “tunnel” descriptions! I have this exact feeling 2 weeks after my biopsy. I couldn’t find anything on the internet about it and was worried. Sounds like it’s normal

Keep in mind you have a hard area of scar tissue where the surgery was. I believe some women are told to massage the area if they want to soften it up--not sure many stick with it. There is also something called "cording" which can pop up after radiation. It happened to me several times, long after I'd finished rads, usually after I'd added/increased weightlifting. There is PT for it but it also will resolve on its own.

had a re-incision 2 weeks ago, which was 1.5 weeks after lumpectomy Going between two hospitals for various reason But both do say such feeling is normal and it does not mean there’s a big tumor there now even though mine felt like that! It also feels like there’s a sold wall inside my breast
