May 31 Chicago Event to support research for MBC

Are you looking for a way to support breast cancer research? Join us for the Chicago Metsquerade, a formal fundraiser benefiting Metavivor. Metavivor donates 100% of all funds raised to research for stage 4 breast cancer.

Why: Stage 4 breast cancer, also known as metastatic breast cancer (MBC), is cancer that has spread, or "metastasized," to other parts of the body, including the lungs, liver, bones and/or brain.

Over 230,000 Americans are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and up to 30% of people who have been treated for early stage breast cancer (stages 0-3) eventually develop stage 4 breast cancer.

Less than 5% of all funds raised in the name of breast cancer actually go towards researching this terminal stage of disease. Help us make MBC a chronic manageable disease instead of a terminal one.

What: The second annual Chicago Metsquerade, a sit-down dinner with silent and live auctions, music and dancing, will donate 100% of proceeds to Metavivor.

When: Friday, May 31, 2019, 6:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
