Those with Liver Mets some questions...

Hi. Did anyone have less than 5 mets and have to decide between Radiotherapy SBRT or surgery? If so what did you do and why? How was the outcome? Were you HER2-?

I met with a radiologist at Columbia on Monday. He said that after the MRI they do see 1 more leison but it is very tiny and near the other one. He said it may have been there all along and the CT didn't pick it up and not to worry about that (mainly because I was kind of freaked out thinking they are multiplying rapidly and that was new). Anyhow....he said all 3 are in good areas and the study I qualify for would allow the Radiotherapy or Surgery. He said he was going to review the CT scan and MRI with a team of surgeons there and then speak to my MO and decide which they feel would be best. I meet with the MO on Monday the 20th and will see what they think . I am fairly positive she will want to wait till I am on the meds for 3 months before they do anything but at we will know which procedure they recommend.

I also was wondering....I had 1 shot of Luprin on April 30th also been on Letrozole since then. Had 1 shot of Faslodex and I just got a HEAVY period yesterday...ughhh has this happened to anyone? I will also start the Ibrance on Monday after I see her. Do they usually drop the Letrozol after starting Ibrance?? I am hearing that is generally what happens??
