Lump and PET scan results after mastectomy/reconstruction

Options

About three weeks ago I found a tender lump under my mastectomy scar on the cancer side. It now feels like two lumps and not as tender. I didn't call my MO because I already had a previously scheduled followup PET scan on 05/08 and then would see her again on 05/16. My PET scan was available online today and showed some minor uptake in that area. The radiologist that read it said followup in 3 months could be considered and that it could possibly be postsurgical inflammation. But since I hadn't told anyone about the lumps yet, I'm still concerned it could be local recurrence. I know my appointment is just two days away, but it's getting late here, and you know how darkness can cause the worry to set in...

My background: I think my stats are in my signature, but I had dose-dense AC, then Taxol and carboplatin (finished 05/30/18), mastectomy with reconstruction in 07/18, 33 radiation treatments (finished 10/18), and I'm on exemestane. I'm BRCA1 positive and had total hysterectomy/BSO in 12/18.
