Bathing suits - no reconstruction, no prosthesis

Hi All - I chose not to have reconstruction and also am not interested in wearing a prosthesis - I am having trouble finding a 'flat' bathing suit - one without soft cups or a pocket for a prosthesis. Any suggestions?

Maybe a swim shirt.  I bought one in the men's department and some swim shorts as well.  I really like them.

Thanks GrandmaV - I was thinking of a swim shirt. I swim quite a bit and wondered if the shirts work better if they fit closely to the body or are loose or is it pretty much a personal preference thing?

Hi!

I wear a swim shirt when swimming to protect my radiated breast from the sun. I much prefer the closely-fitted swim shirts. The looser ones can interfere with your strokes and movement. Good luck!

I wear a chlorine resistant competitive swimmer type bather. I am not a competitive swimmer. These types of bathers tend to have no cups. I then wear a rash top over the bathers for sun protection.

Thanks xxyzed - I have tried those and while I am not a big person they seem to run small and the larger sizes do have soft cups . . . I appreciate the suggestions!

I am a big size and buy the size up. The style I have found that suit me without cups are the high neck ones with a zip up front. I did have to try on 20 pairs of bathers to find a pair that looked good. Now that I’m onto a winner I just keep buying the same style
