Birth Control and Breast Lumps

I’m about to go on low dose birth control for female issues. I have benign breast masses such as fibroadenoma and a cyst. Would going on low dose birth control be risky? I’m 36. I’ve been on it before few years ago. It always been Sprintec Lo. I contacted my doc but haven’t heard back yet. The breast center thinks I’ll be fine. Thanks
