Who had Herceptin without Perjeta? Results?

I vaguely recall the Info coming from my MO in mid December, but remember him thinking herceptin would be enough and did not think perjeta would be approved with insurance due to under 2 cm tumor. Here I am, chemo done and bmx with pathology showing clear nodes but 7 remaining mm of that bastard tumor. Pisses me off. I understand that triple is more resistant and does not as often achieve pCR but neither of my docs could even feel anything left. I continue with herceptin every 3 weeks and wonder if it is possible to add perjeta for the remaining months. The difference in studies shows small percentage of difference but I want it all even for I or 2 percent. My regimen was TCH and now I will need to decide with MO if it will be kadcyla or nerlynx. Tamoxifen or AI. I was a month shy of 52 and still getting my period mo thly when chemo knocked it out.

Hi el, I had Taxotere, Carboplatin, and Herceptin. Herceptin for a year. I am now 10 years out. Where is the 7mm located?

cowgirl... glad you are doing so well! Grest to hear and thanks for the reply. The residual cancer was in the tumor bed. It started at 1.7 mm so it did respond but not 100%. My nodes and margins were clear so no radiation. I guess I just wonder what if any difference there may have been with perjeta..it seems so standard now.
