Worried about lung biopsy tomorrow

I have my needle lung biopsy tomorrow morning. I'm more nervous about the biopsy itself than the results, because I'm already pretty sure it's going to be positve for MBC. I'm worried some about bleeding, since I've been in Eliquis - but I will have been off it for 2 days as instructed, so that should be alright. I'm mostly worried about the possibility of a collapsed lung, even though I know they are rare. Has anyone had one before, and how did it go? How was the recovery afterwards? Any encouraging words - and honest feedback of any complications! - would be welcome! Thank you!

Amy, I haven't had a lung biopsy, but I can certainly understand the nervousness you have. It is 7 am here now and perhaps you are already at the hospital getting the procedure done. I wish you the very best, that the discomfort be minimal and the complications be none!

I see you are from Grand Rapids, MI. Of course, Ohio & Michigan have some sports rivalries, but last year dh and I visited Mackinac Island and Frankenmuth, and I loved your state, first time I ever visited. Didn't realize it was such a big state!

    AmyJM,

Sorry I have not responded sooner but I just saw this post,. I had no pain or other issues with my needle biopsy, only discomfort while lying on my stomach for the procedure.

I hope things went well yesterday. Let us know.

    Tina
