Lumpectomy, lipofill, lump and pain

Options

This is my first post, though I read a lot of others. I have stage 3 (a or b - not quite determined) IDC, multifocal, with 7/11 lymph nodes positive. It is grade 3, and there was evidence of lymphvascular invasion and extranodal extension. HR+/HER-. So, high risk and all the fun stuff that goes with it.

I had chemotherapy, a lumpectomy in 10/17, followed by radiation, and in 12/18 I had a breast lift, with lipofilling on the cancer side. I do trelstar and tamoxifen.

The past couple of weeks, I've had shooting/stabbing pain in the top of the affected breast; even though my tumors were below the nipple, the breast lift reconfigured everything. I am also feeling a lump in that area. This is not where the lipofillng was done, and it's not connected to the ANLD scars and cording.

I have an appointment with my oncologist in a couple of days, but I'm curious about how worried I should be. Has anyone had a similar situation? I was so convinced that my first lump was in my imagination and that I was being a hypochrondiac; I should have seen the doctor much sooner than I did. This lump feels much the same. Boo!

Make sure that they do not feel the lump and tell you it feels like scar tissue, an undissolved stitch, etc etc. They can tell you these things, but do insist om imaging. Hoping it is just scar tissue, but insist on more definitive answers. Sorry you're dealing with this stress.
